riders- 1/2 DAY options

Our Riders ½ Day  is a super fun program for snowboarders who have accomplished blue runs and are already exploring some freestyle tricks.

This is a ten-week program offered either Saturdays or Sundays. 

There are AM or PM options each day.    

This program follows Canada Snowboard’s “Riders Program ” pathway. The snowboarders in this program ride with trained Canada Snowboard coaches who focus on training the Main skills of snowboarding. All athletes  will be introduced to competition and how to warm up, cool down, and have fun with a Team.

Minimum skill level: riders must be able to load a chairlift unassisted AND must be able to confidently do toe and heel-edge turns on blue runs. Prior experience with Ski School Instruction is preferred.

BC Snowboard membership required for all members.

Riders 1/2 Day Ages 7-11. 2hrs 45 mins training daily

riders - FULL DAY Options

The Riders Team is a fun program for snowboarders who have accomplished blue and black diamond runs and who are interested in improving their skills.  This is a ten-week full-day program with Full Day Training Options for  Saturday OR Sundays – or Both!  

If you are not quite ready for full-day training, try the Riders half-day program.

Athletes are placed into blue and black level groups before heading out daily.  The snowboarders in this program ride with trained Canada Snowboard coaches and focus on the main skills needed for safety in slopestyle, jumps, boxes and rail features in the Terrain Park, freeriding, and SBX (Boarder Cross). Athletes will learn about the core skills of snowboarding and will be introduced to competitions and how to warm up, cool down, and have fun.

Minimum skill level: riders must be able to load a chairlift unassisted AND must be able to confidently do toe and heel-edge turns on blue or Black runs. Prior experience with Ski School Instruction is preferred.

Riders Full Day Ages 8-15+, 5- 6 hrs training daily

Jr. Development Team *special invitation required

The Jr Development Team is a special competitive development snowboard program for the very mini but very extreme snowboarders.

Super Groms need only apply.  Ages 8-11 with advanced skills only.

 This invitational program introduces young athletes to the high-performance environment and 2026 winter season plans include coaching support at multiple BC Snowboard Provincial series events.  

The Jr Dev Team is for motivated and driven athletes who have chosen snowboarding as one of their top sports.

This program is Freestyle focussed but does include SBX , Freeride and speed skill training. The Jr Dev Team prepares athletes for a smooth transition to the Dev snowboard team and builds towards BC Snowboard Provincial contest events. 

18 Sessions on snow are planned for the 2025/26 winter season. Training Saturdays only with a modified schedule for Christmas and Spring Break  extra training camps.  This program includes 2 extra days with the Team as they compete in the Silver Star BC provincial events.

All programs are led by Canada Snowboard certified coaches, and the Jr. Dev Team program is overseen by Dev Head Coach Josh Rayner.

Jr Dev Team athletes are ages typically 8-11+ and commit a minimum of 1-3 days per week (winter and spring) to training and competitions.   Fall dryland sessions at Treeline Park are recommended.

Winter training Dec 20 2025- March 22 2026.

A valid BC Snowboard ‘compete’ membership is required to join all training.

The Dev Team is a competitive development snowboard program.  This invitational program introduces athletes to the high-performance sports environment and the season plans include coaching support at multiple BC Snowboard Provincial series events.  

The Dev Team is for motivated and driven athletes who have chosen snowboarding as one of their top sports.

This program is Freestyle focussed but does include SBX , Freeride and speed skill training. The Dev Team prepares athletes for a smooth transition to the Comp snowboard team and builds towards FIS competitions and National level events.   

37 Sessions on snow are planned for the 2025/26 winter season. Training Saturday and Sunday with a modified Christmas Camp  and Spring Break schedule. 

All programs are led by Canada Snowboard certified coaches, and the Dev Team program is delivered by Josh Rayner and Craig Moore, two of BC’s best specialists in Freestyle training.

Dev Team athletes are typically ages 11-16 and commit a minimum of 1-3 days per week (winter and spring) to training and competitions.   Fall dryland sessions at Treeline Park are recommended.

Winter training Dec 6 2025- March 29 2026.

Performance leads to Excellence TEENs & 18+

Comp Team *special invitation required

The Comp Team is a competitive development freestyle focussed snowboard program.  This invitational program supports athletes in the high performance sport environment.

The Comp Team 2026 Winter season plan includes coaching support at multiple BC Snowboard Provincial series events across the province.  

The Comp Team is for motivated and driven athletes who have chosen snowboarding as their main sport. The Comp Team prepares athletes for a smooth transition to elite-level snowboarding and builds towards FIS competitions and National level events and beyond.  

 41 Sessions on snow are planned for the 2024/25 winter season. Training Saturday and Sunday with a modified Christmas Camp schedule.  Extra Thursday High Performance training available as add-on.

All programs are led by Canada Snowboard certified coaches, and the Comp Team program is delivered by Head Coach and Olympian Crispin Lipscomb with guest coach appearances by Oskar Klein, Corben Marchiel and more. 

Comp Team athletes are typically ages 15+ and commit a minimum of 2-4 days per week (winter and spring) to training and plan entry to multiple competitions. Attendance at Fall dryland sessions at Treeline Park are expected along with Airbag training sessions Sept-Nov.

The Snowboard Comp Team is an invitational performance freestyle/freeride snowboard program focused on high skill level development. Training involves freeride skill development, slopestyle competition preparation and support, strength and conditioning, state of mind, and board repair/ tuning techniques. 

Winter 26 training program will begin Nov 29 ’25 to March 29 ’26, and includes contest support for 3 BC provincial competitions.

Custom programs available upon special request for Comp Team athletes only.
