SKI AND BOARD SWAP
Freestyle Skiers - Trampoline and Water Ramping are activities required to create strong air skills for freestyle skiers. SS Freestyle Summer Air Academy gets skiers the skills they need to send the tricks they want to do... safely and progressively.
SS Freestyle summer trampoline programs are coming soon. Contact email@example.com if you have interest in participating in trampoline programs this summer.
Water Ramp sessions
If you can jump on snow then you might as well jump on water!!! Water is one of the safest and progressive ways to get comfy in your air skills. Skiers learn their first back flips, front flips, flat spins and lincons (side flips) into the water. It's recommended skiers that water ramp can comfortably do back flips on trampoline before attending water ramps. If your still learning your 360's that's ok too. But keep in mind these camps are catered to kids that can flip on trampolines.
So you have been ramping and going off axis already!? SS Freestyle camps can get you your tricks to the next level. Are you doing grabs in your tricks? Are you doing them opposite?
New and experienced athletes should fill out the following on line form to help coaches prepare for your air training experience. Please fill out the SS Freestyle Air Academy Goals Sheet:
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to help forming plan to make your flip ambitions come to reality.
SS Freestyle Air Academy Head Coach, Wade Garrod
Wade has been training freestyle skiers to do air for over 20 years. Wade competed in ole' school aerials and learned his air teaching techniques from traditional aerialists and coaches. Wade believes learning the basics will build a strong foundation so the Slopestyle, Big Air and Mogul skiers of "TODAY" can excel in a safe progressive pathway - and kick some butt. Wade has personally trained skiers that have become pro-skiers, X-games Champions, World Champions and Olympians. Wade carefully selects and trains the coaching staff to deliver each athlete the best possible experience.
Also in the coaches line up this summer will be former SS Freestyle Comp Team head coach Sebastien Berthiaume and for the last camp current head coach Cole Melin.
If you want to learn to jump with confidence and with style join the 2018 SS Freestyle Air Training Academy and send it all summer long.
